Friday Faves- From disaster to amazing!

This was an overstuffed toy room disaster when clients called me a few months ago.

Now, it's a tranquil guest room retreat.

We finished it just in time for the client's mom who plans to visit next week!

Years ago I owned a home where I spent hours and hours developing and caring for what eventually became a beautiful garden. Only recently have I discovered how much I really miss it.

I'm not an outdoorsy camping kinda girl, but I truly enjoy being and entertaining outdoors. There is something about being entirely and completely enveloped in the warmth, color, texture and peace of planting flowers and tending a garden that, for me, is as relaxing as laying on a chaise on the beach.

Finally- warmer weather is easing it's way to the East Coast and has me thinking about my pathetic back yard. I love being outdoors as much as possible when the weather is warm, but who wants to spend a fortune on a rental?

This week I have been focused on how to mix vintage pieces in with your modern decor. In my research, I have come across some pretty amazing vintage finds. Here are a few of my favorites:
