Inspiring Entryways Part 2: The Mudroom

Thank you to so many of you that emailed about your own entryway angst!

 I so enjoyed "hearing" your stories of woe so similar to my own. So frequently did I also hear of a "second" entryway madness; that space just inside the garage or just off the driveway that has become a hazardous dumping ground of shoes and coats, backpacks and dog leashes. Yes that!

For many, the "perfect" mudroom is just not in the cards without walls being blown out or moving trucks showing up.  So below, is a little inspiration to get easy mudroom calm to those small spaces
 - in a hurry.

As easy as click and deliver,
comes in a variety of finishes and works with a variety of decorating styles.
I had this in my own small mudroom and LOVED it!

How about this cleaver corner?
Crafted of prefab cabinets, robe hooks and 2 shelves;
inexpensive bead board could also be attached to the walls
and give it a more "mudroom" look.
This is a super easy and inexpensive!

 Here's a look that can be accomplished in a day
 in almost ANY space:
walls hooks, bench and baskets.
The trick is to have a hook and basket for each member of the family.
Labeling them is also a plus so there is no question where things go.

Please continue to send questions and comments.
I love hearing from you!
