Urban Country - Bethesda

Last weekend, Bethesa Urban Partnership kicked off the Holiday Season with it's annual Winter Wonderland.  The weekend was filled with concerts, ice sculpting presentations and a surprise visit by Mother Nature in the form of a few inches of snow.

To continue the merriment throughout the month, Thursdays are thee day on "the ROW" with special events hosted by select vendors each week. My friends at Urban Country invited me kick things off with a special holiday decorating class.  Attendees learned how to decorate their homes in five easy steps, decorate their trees using the 6 layer technique and got to shop for holiday gifts at a special and generous discount. 

Local Photographer and Artist Sandi Wilson and others were also on-hand to showcase their artistic talents.  It was an evening filled with holiday fun and inspiration.

In keeping with the holiday spirit, Thursday, December 10th Urban Country hosted an "Epicurean Holiday" event with discounts off all dinnerware, barware and just about anything, and everything, you would need for the perfect holiday dinner party.
